In Luke 13:10-13 is the story of a woman whom Jesus healed. It is often quoted because Jesus healed her on the Sabbath day, and it caused quite a stir. He was able to teach those who would listen an important But I like this story for another reason.
In verse 12 it says "And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him..." then he healed her. It teaches the important principle that we must come to Him. Often times we wait to be saved, comforted, taught, etc. It takes a concerted and proactive approach on our part. And, even during those times when He calls to us first, we still have to be the ones to go to Him.

There are two kinds of strength.... that of our own and that strength that comes with leaning on the Lord. I know, for me, It is the Lord's strength I need the most in my life.
