Mormon 9
I wish I could write as convincingly as Moroni. The guy has got a way with words. I'm a believer, and he had me repenting!
I love scripture that is plain, simple, straight forward: Don't doubt God. Repent. Or it's gonna be bad for you.

THURSDAY: Ether 1
Come unto the Lord and work out your OWN salvation. It's up to us. We each have our own path. We each have our own trials. We each have our own issues. We can't get to heaven on someone elses efforts. It's completely up to us and it starts right here, right now.
ReplyDeleteWe will align ourselves while in this world with the type of people we feel most comfortable with. If you are happier with sinners, that's who you get to spend eternity with. We each get to choose our eternal companions.
We can be mad at the world for dumping on us. We can justify or rationalize away our salvation because we choose not to see, hear and follow the words of the Lord. Bottom line... It's all our choice.... Fish or cut bait.
There seems to be a feeling desperation (almost). Because of the Love he has for all of God's children Morni really wants us to get the mesage so that we will want to obey and repent and return to Father.
ReplyDeleteAs Angi states, we must work out our own salvation.
Will the effort be worth it? Of course, I think it will. The operative word here is WORK. It will not be easy but it will be worth it, especially if we have aligned ourselves with our Savior and His Father.
