3 Nephi 25
3 Nephi 25
Short but sweet. I love this chapter. I had a chance to talk with my two teenagers and a couple of their friends about the last days. I was able to share with them some of the things they could expect, and some of the things that are expected from them.
It brought them great peace, and even a sense of excitement about the Last Days. Especially the need for temple work, and the great things they can do for those who cannot do for themselves.

Two things I think of when it says the proud and wicked shall be burnt as a stubble.... nuclear weapons and wildland fires. Not that either are like each other. Just makes me think of those two.
ReplyDeleteA. Nuclear weapons- 'nuff said.
B. Wildland fires- half the country has been on fire this year and it's not slowing down. (And if not on fire, then definitely in an extreme drought)If that's not being burnt to a stubble- what is? Granted not many proud and wicked have been killed, but maybe that's because it is a call to repentance or at least a calling to pyar to the Lord for safety.
It's quite easy to see many signs of the times if we are even barely paying attention. People mocked Noah, but he was floating when they weren't. Somedays I just want to yell... WAKE UP people!!!
