I'm recognizing a pattern in my comments. I nearly always write (and I know, because I was just about to start this post this way) how much I love the chapter I just read. I say it nearly everyday, because it is true.
And today's is no different.
I love how the Lord speaks here. It is His voice, His words He is the same yesterday, today and forever--across the globe and across time.
Sadly, there are many who don't want more of Him. I am simply amazed by that!
Of the Book of Mormon Ezra Taft Benson said; The Book of Mormon was written for us today. God is the author of the book. It is a record of a fallen people, compiled by inspired men for our blessing today Those people never had the book - - it was meant for us. Mormon, the ancient prophet after who the book is named, abridged centuries of records. God, who knows the end from the beginning, told him what to include in his abridgment that we need for our day.
God hand-picked, out of centuries of writing and prophecies- ever one of the 6,604 verses in the Book of Mormon because HE wanted us to have each of those verses, every word, to read today.
It wasn't Mormon who chose, but God.
It brings an importance to each and every verse, chapter and book.
And yet, thousands of people do not want the Book of Mormon. If only they knew . .
And that's where we come in. Read it, share it, testify of it. We are to flood the world with it.
We will get rejected, for sure.
But, for the few that won't reject us, they will be eternally grateful.

Iam so grateful that God lives, that His church has the priesthood and that HE knows & loves me by providing a way for me & all of His children to return home.
ReplyDeleteI believe that those who follow after the traditions of their father, but are honest, good people will be the ones who we are to share the gospel with by the way we live. One day the Spirit will touch them & they will be brought into the fold. Of this I have no doubt because many belong to my family...good people.
I also look forward to additional scriptures. We live in exciting times.
